An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring the 1974 hit, Everything I Own by Jamaican artist Ken Boothe. Released on the Trojan Record label this vinyl single has been reworked into a silhouette of  a Trojan helmet which is the Trojan Record Label logo.

Everything I Own was written by David Gates for his rock band Bread in 1972. Many people belief that it was about a broken relationship but it was in fact written about his father.

Trojan Records is a British record label founded in 1968. It specialises in ska, rocksteady, reggae and dub music. Trojan were instrumental in introducing reggae to a global audience and secured a series of major UK chart hits, with their successful artists from this period including Tony Tribe, Lee Perry’s Upsetters, Bob and Marcia, Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff, Harry Johnson’s Harry J All Stars, The Maytals, The Melodians Nicky Thomas and Dave and Ansel Collins.
