An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single featuring Billy Connolly’s single from 1990, Irish Heartbeat.  Released on the Dover record label, this Irish folk song has been reworked into the shape of Ireland.

Irish Heartbeat is a popular folk song that was first composed by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison’s and it appeared on his earlier album ‘Inarticulate Speech of the Heart.’

Comedian and singer Billy Connolly sung a version and released it as a single in 1990. In 1994, he recorded a live cover of the song during his World Tour of Scotland. The performance was also used as the closing theme to the BBC series.
