Additional information about this, Stevie Wonder vinyl art.

Stevie Wonder – The Artist

Stevland Hardaway Morris known by his stage name Stevie Wonder, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist. A child prodigy, he is considered to be one of the most critically and commercially successful musical performers of the late 20th century. Stevie Wonder signed with Motown’s Tamla label at the age of 11, and he continued performing and recording for Motown into the 2010s. He has been blind since shortly after birth.

My Cherie Amour – The Song

My Cherie Amour is a Motown classic song performed by Stevie Wonder and co-written by Wonder, Sylvia Moy, and Henry Cosby. The song, originally entitled “Oh, My Marsha”, was composed about Wonder’s girlfriend, while he was at the Michigan School for the Blind in Lansing, Michigan. Following their break-up, the lyrics and title were altered to the more general, My Cherie Amour. Wonder also released Spanish- and Italian-language versions entitled “Mi Querido Amor” and “My Cherie Amor”, respectively.

‘My’ is an English word meaning mon , chéri(e) is a French word which means beloved , dear , dearest , darling . Amour means love . So the English translation would be : my darling love , my dearest and my love , my dear love .

The Heart – The Shape

The heart shape  and its meaning has evolved over hundreds of years.  Nowadays it means love but before the 13th and 14th centuries it was generally drawn for decorative purposes. People at that time thought of our hearts as books of memory and believed feelings for the beloved were somehow written on your heart.
