Run-DMC – The Artist/s

Run-DMC (also known as Run-D.M.C.) was an American hip-hop group from Hollis, Queens, New York, founded in 1983 by Joseph Simmons (Run), Darryl McDaniels (DMC), and Jason Mizell (Jam Master Jay). Run-DMC is regarded as one of the most influential acts in the history of hip-hop culture and one of the most famous hip-hop acts of the 1980s. Along with the Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, and Public Enemy, the group pioneered new-school hip-hop music. The group was among the first to highlight the importance of the MC and DJ relationship.

Walk This Way – The Song

“Walk This Way” is a cover song by Run-DMC. It was originally released by the American rock band Aerosmith. Written by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. The original Aerosmith song was part of a string of successful hit singles for the band in the 1970s. In addition to being one of the songs that helped break Aerosmith into the mainstream in the 1970s. Run_DMC revitalized Aerosmith’s career in the 1980s when they covered it on their 1986 album Raising Hell. This cover was a touchstone for the new musical subgenre of rap rock, or the melding of rock and hip hop. It became an international hit

The Crab – The Shape

Modelled into the silhouette of a crab. Crabs are decapod crustaceans of the infraorder Brachyura, which typically have a very short projecting “tail” (abdomen), usually hidden entirely under the thorax. They live in all the world’s oceans, in fresh water, and on land, are generally covered with a thick exoskeleton, and have a single pair of pincers. They first appeared during the Jurassic Period. Crabs typically walk sideways (a behaviour which spawned the term crabwise), because of the articulation of the legs which makes a sidelong gait more efficient.
