An individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record art made from 45rpm, 7” single featuring the song, You Do Something To Me by  Paul Weller. This rare record, released in 1995, on the Go! Discs record label has been reworked into a silhouette of loving heart.

Please note due to the difficulty in obtaining the original Paul Weller record this is an alternative record with a copy of the record label stuck over the alternative record. This is a practice I don’t normally do but due to demand is the only available current option.

A great framed gift for a friend or family member who is a fan of Paul Weller,  Blues Rock,  Romance or has a special memory linked to the song.

Presented in a black wooden box frame
Limited Edition of 100, signed and numbered by myself, the artist

Additional information about this, Paul Weller vinyl art.

Paul Weller – The Artist

Paul John Weller (born 1958) is an English singer-songwriter and musician. Weller achieved fame with the punk rock/new wave/mod revival band The Jam. He had further success with the blue-eyed soul music of The Style Council (1983–1989), before establishing himself as a solo artist in 1991. Despite widespread critical recognition as a singer, lyricist, and guitarist, Weller has remained a national, rather than international, star and much of his songwriting is rooted in British culture. He is also the principal figure of the 1970s and 1980s mod revival, and is often referred to as “The Modfather”.

You Do Something To Me – The Song

You Do Something To Me is a song written by Paul Weller and taken from his third studio album, Stanley Road.

The Heart – The Shape

This record had been modelled into the silhouette of a loving heart. The heart shape and its meaning has evolved over hundreds of years. Nowadays it means love but before the 13th and 14th centuries it was generally drawn for decorative purposes. People at that time thought of our hearts as books of memory and believed feelings for the beloved were somehow written on your heart.
