An Individual, limited edition, example of vinyl record silhouette art made from a genuine, original, 45rpm, 7” single of I Wanna Be Adored from 1991, by British indie rock band, The Stone Roses. Released on the Silverline record label, this rare and collectable vinyl single has been reworked into the well known silhouette of lead singer Ian Brown (monkey man).
I Wanna Be Adored was written by lead guitarist, John Squire and Ian Brown. The song was meant as a forthright apology (for signing a lucrative record deal) to the Manchester fans who had been there from the start.
