Beautiful North West Yorkshire seaside town, Whitby, sees the opening of a new shop, RL Home Decor and Kenny Deane Vinyl Art is delighted to be on display for their grand opening on Monday 15th June 2020.
RL Home Decor, previously available online, have branched out with a high street shop overlooking the scenic fishing harbour of Whitby. Enthusiatic Proprieters Ricky and Lauren have stacked the store full of decortaive home items, refurbished furniture, quirky vintage curios and a range of Kenny Deane vinyl art made from genuine vintage 7” records.
Furniture restorer and home decor specialist, Lauren said: “We are trying to diffirentiate ourselves within Whitby by selling an unusual mix of gifts and furniture as awell as providing some refreshments for hungry shoppers. Kenny’s unique vinyl art will be part of that mix as it is really eye catching and make excellent gifts for a music enthusiast.”
Ricky and Lauren will be selling delicous coffee and a range of exciting ice cream, initially for take-away, but once some normaility is resumed to the high street, their shop will have tables and chairs for customers to sit on while surrounded by all their merchandise.
RL Home Decor is Open from Monday 15th June and is located overlooking the harbour bridge (Marines Parade / St. Annes Staith) in picturesque Whitby in North West Yorkshire.
Kenny Deane said: “The last few months for any retailer, gripped by the Covid-19 pandemic, has been very challenging but the lockdown has given Ricky and Lauren an excellent opportunity to source some interesting and exciting ware for their new shop. Combining a dessert parlour along with coffee facilities is an exccelent idea that really sets them apart and we wish them every success.”
With a carefully selected selection of large and small art pieces on display I hope they will show Ricky and Laurens customers what can be done with vintage vinyl to create a unique personal gift or a statement picture for any home.
